Delete Account

Delete in the app

This is the fastest way and deletes your account immediately:

1. Open the My Status app and sign in to your account.
2. Go to Profile → Settings.
3. Press the “Delete account” button at the very bottom.
4. To confirm, type the word O'CHIRISH (in Russian УДАЛИТЬ, in English DELETE) and confirm.

Once confirmed, the action cannot be undone.

If you cannot access the app

If you lost your phone, your account is blocked, or you cannot sign in for any other reason, write to the address below:

In your email, state the Google account email address or username linked to your account. After we verify ownership, the account will be deleted within 30 days.

What is deleted

When an account is deleted, the following are removed from the server completely:

• Profile data: name, username, picture, biography, contact details
• Posts, reels, and stories
• Messages and files you sent (in private chats and in groups)
• Subscriptions, likes, comments, and saved items
• Servis (marketplace) profile and listings
• Advertising campaigns and coin balance
• Device push tokens and the sign-in via Google (Firebase) account
• Encryption key — including the secret part on the device

Media files (images, videos, voice messages) are also deleted from the server storage. The key for previously encrypted old messages is deleted from your device, which means no one, including us, can open and read them.

What may be retained

• The copy of messages you sent to other people that is on their devices — they are the owners of their own conversations.
• Payment and accounting records that are kept where required by law.
• Aggregated statistics from which no person can be identified.

Data leaves backups completely within 90 days.

Getting your data without deleting it

If you want to keep your account and only receive a copy of your data, write to the same address. Full details are on the Privacy Policy page.
