Welcome to My Status. By downloading, installing, or using our mobile app or website, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the service.
1. Acceptance of the terms
Accessing or using My Status (the "app", the "service") signifies your agreement to these terms and to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Users must be 18+ years of age. Registering confirms this age requirement.
2. Description of the service
My Status provides the following:
- Posts, stories, reels, comments, likes, and saved items
- Private messages — reactions, replies, editing, voice and video messages, files, location, and read marks
- Public and private channels/groups
- The Ad Window (a local marketplace for placing video ads according to status tier) and targeted advertising campaigns paid for with coins
- Servis — finding professionals and businesses
- Subscriptions, rating, and distribution on the Discover screen
- AI assistant — caption and hashtag suggestions via Google Gemini
3. User accounts
You are responsible for the security of your account and for any action taken through it. If you suspect unauthorized use, notify us immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate the rules.
4. Acceptable use
The following are prohibited:
- Pornographic, sexual, or unlawful content. Automatic moderation (on the device and on the server) blocks clear violations and holds suspicious content until an admin reviews it; deliberately circumventing it is prohibited.
- Harassment, threats, and impersonation.
- Spreading hatred, inciting violence, or promoting terrorism.
- Malware, phishing links, and copyright infringement.
- Scraping, bulk downloading, or connecting with unauthorized software.
- Advertising prohibited goods and services through the Ad Window (unlawful drugs, weapons, unlicensed gambling, etc.).
- Harming the service or gaining unauthorized access to user data.
5. Content ownership and license
You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, distribute, and display your content to the extent necessary to operate the service. The license ends when the content or account is deleted (except for copies already delivered to other people's devices).
6. The Ad Window
Users book 5-minute airtime slots in the Ad Window. Each status
tier gives a certain amount of free airtime per day; anything above
that is paid, and the price is shown in the app. Payment is made
outside the app, by USSD through a mobile operator:
*880*066645*summa#. An admin verifies the payment and
activates the ad. Targeted advertising campaigns are paid for with
coins; coins are spent only on advertising and are not exchanged for
money. There is no in-app payment (in-app purchase). Every ad must
comply with the rules in section 4 and pass moderation.
7. AI features
Caption suggestions and automatic moderation are provided "as is", with no guarantee of accuracy. An AI suggestion is a starting point. You are responsible for the final content. Automatic moderation is an aid, not a guarantee; you may write to us about an erroneous decision.
8. Reports and moderation
Anyone can report content or a user through the in-app report window. Admins review reports and decide: removal, account suspension, or account closure. Repeat violators may be permanently banned.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content. Abusive, threatening, pornographic, or unlawful content, and users who post such content, are absolutely not tolerated. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours; content that breaks the rules is removed and the account that posted it is blocked. Every user can also block another user themselves — the blocked person's content and messages are not visible to them.
9. Privacy
Use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
10. Availability
We try to keep the service available 24/7, but uninterrupted operation is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to suspend it without prior notice for maintenance, updates, or incidents.
11. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We also reserve the right to immediately stop your use of the service, without prior notice, if you violate the rules or the law. After termination, sections 5, 12, 13, and 14 remain in effect.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We give no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Status and its operators are not liable for direct or indirect damages, lost profits, or loss of data.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Disputes will be heard in the competent courts of the city of Tashkent.
15. Changes
We update the terms from time to time. The new version is reflected in the date above. Continuing to use the service signifies agreement to the updated terms.
